Tues 12 Jan: Active and Independent Living Improvement Programme Event

When: Tuesday 12th January 2016, 9.30am-2pm
Where: Renfield St Stephen’s Church, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4JP

As you may be aware, the Allied Health Professions' National Delivery Plan is currently being renewed, and thus they have been holding a series of consultation events with various professionals and practitioners and other stakeholders. However, they are particularly keen to get more feedback from individuals, as so far, this perspective has not been gathered as fully as might be possible, and they want to ensure that feedback from this group is included going forward.

The event will be similar in style to the National Conversation event, but with a particular focus on the work of Allied Health Professionals (e.g. speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, radiographers, podiatrists, occupational health therapists, etc.) It will be of particular relevance to those who are interested in self management, living longer in their own homes, and being active in the community into later life.

If you would like to give your views on the Active and Independent Living Improvement Programme but cannot attend this event, please complete this survey and we will collate your views.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide in this matter to ensure that the voices of people who are disabled, those living with long-term conditions and unpaid carers are heard and acted upon.

Full details of the event and registration available through Eventbrite or by emailing Benjamin.McElwee@alliance-scotland.org.uk

Health Improvement Scotland - Public Partner Opportunity

Healthcare Improvement Scotland is now recruiting volunteers to the role of Public Partner to ensure the experiences and voices of people inform and influence improvements in the quality of care in Scotland.

They are looking for individuals who will be able to feedback on the template to assess its suitability for use.
