BIG Lottery Fund grants open for applications
Grants from the BIG Lottery Fund available for improving the lives of people in challenging circumstances, ranging from £10k-1m. Other grants also available.
2016 Scottish Health Awards open for Nomination
The nomination process for the 2016 Scottish Health Awards is now open, running until the closing date of 1 September. The annual awards recognise the extraordinary work of people on the frontline of Scottish health care. More information.
Scotland's Civil Society Shadow Report to UN Disability Committee on Human Rights
Inclusion Scotland are to lead on producing Scotland's civil society shadow report to the United Nations (UN) Disability Committee on the Convention of the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD). They will work in partnership with several key deaf and disabled people's organisations in Scotland to engage with disabled people on progress, and delivery of their human rights.

Self Management Week 2016
The ALLIANCE have announced that Self Management Week 2016 will run between 3rd and 7th October, with this year's theme being 'Powerful Partnerships'. The Self Management Awards 2016, which are announced as part of the week's activities, is also open for nominations. Closing date for nominations is August 5th.

Brexit
The ALLIANCE have launched a survey on Brexit and its implications for supports and services that members either use or deliver. More information - open until 31st July.
Children and Young People
SSSC have launched a consultation on the Standard of Foster Care, and are seeking the views of everyone involved in providing and supporting foster care services - open until 15th August.
ScotPHO is conducting a review of the Children and Young People's Profile to provide a balanced set of indicators relating to the health, wellbeing, and broader social determinants, of children and young people - open until 24th August.
Mental Health
Support in Mind launches new survey on the next mental health strategy - open until 8th August.
The Scottish Parliament's Health and Sport Committee would like to hear views on mental health services, support and strategy as part of its first call for evidence of the new Parliamentary session - until 17th August.
The Scottish Government has now published a paper, which reflects what has been heard and considered so far in relation to the new 10 year mental health strategy and is seeking responses - until 16 September.
A consultation for implementation of certain sections of the Mental Health Act (Scotland) 2015 and associated regulations - open until 17th October.
Social Security / Welfare Reform
A consultation on social security in Scotland (summarised version), which is seeking views on the benefits being devolved, and is the first step towards the creation of the Scottish Government's own social security system - open until 28th October.
NHS Scotland
Draft proposals for a 'No-Blame' Redress Scheme in Scotland for Harm Resulting from Clinical Treatment - open until 12th August.
Housing
There is a consultation on the Review of the Scottish Social Housing Charter is seeking views to assist in the development of an updated version of the Charter to commence from 1st April 2017 - open until 24th August.

Scotland’s Charity Regulator, OSCR, has published new guidance for Social Enterprises thinking about becoming a charity in Scotland.
Charity IT Association (CITA) have launched a collaborative project to provide pro-bono IT Volunteers to support charities across the UK in developing their IT skills.
The Care Inspectorate have launched Arts in Care, which offers information, guidance, resources, examples and useful links to help support older people to enjoy engaging in creative arts and improve their health & wellbeing.
The International Journal of Integrated Care have published their April - Jun 2016 volume. It features articles on co-production, integration, person-centred care, equality, and more.
